1. Your lungs are not exactly the same.


We have a pair of lungs. Which are protected by our ribs. These two lungs are not equal. The right lung is slightly larger than the left because the left side of the body heart is present. So, the left lung gives room to the heart.


2. Your nose and ear continue growing through the life cycle.


For a while your height increases. In the beginning when you are small our body parts are also small as we grow older our body parts also get bigger but to a certain extent. But ears and nose continue to grow throughout life. This is because gravity stretches the cartilage in them, making them thicker.


3. There are around 30 blood types recognized of human blood.


You must have heard about blood groups like blood group A, B, O which are negative and positive. Blood group is determined by the genes present in our blood. Recent research show that there are a total of 30 blood groups in the human body.


4. The largest organ of the human body is the skin.


Our skin is considered as an organ of our body because it has different types of tissues and membranes. Skin acts as a protection for us, it protects us from temperature and outside germs. As it is present on the whole body surface so it is considered as the largest organ of the human body


5. Human also shed their skin.


You may have heard of snakes and some other creatures shedding their skin before. In fact, humans also shed their skin, we shed millions of skin particles a day. Humans are constantly shedding their skin to replace it with a new skin.


6. Your tongue prints are also unique as you have unique finger prints.


Our tongue helps us to perceive things. Every person's tongue is different in size and shape. A recent study has shown that just as our handprints are different from person to person, so are our tongue prints.


7. At birth the human body contains 300 bones which becomes 206 after birth.


We know that there are 206 bones in the human body, but do you know that when a baby is born, there are 300 bones in its body which later fuse together and a complete body has 206 bones.


8. Girls have  more taste buds than boys. 


There are special buds on our tongue that help us taste things.which are present in millions and billion in number. Recent research has shown that girls have more taste buds on their tongues than boys.


9. Human blood vessels, if arranged in sequence can complete four cycles around the earth.


Our body has a network of blood vessels that ensure blood supply throughout our body. Blood in the body reaches every part of the body through these vessels. If these vessels are joined together, they will be so long that they can be wrapped around the earth four times.


10. Your stomach acid can dissolve the metal.


Our stomach which helps in digestion of our food. It contains an acid called Hydrochloric which helps to break things down. It is such a dangerous acid that it can dissolve metal.
