This is because you are hearing your own voice directly hitting the ear drum and this is the sound that people are also hearing. But when you listen to your recorded voice, it is a voice with vibrations. That is why it seems to you that it is not my voice.

How do we hear sound?
First, sound waves enter your outer ear. Then through a small passage these sound waves reach the ear drum. We call this small passage the ear canal. When sound waves hit the ear drum, vibrations are created and then these vibrations are sent to the tiny bones of the middle ear. These bones amplify these vibrations and transmit them to the cochlea. Then these vibrations pass through a membrane called basilar membrane.
Sensory cells are present on this membrane which ride the wave.
These cells near the cochlea sense high-pitched sounds such as loud crying. Those present in the sales center perceive the low pitch sound like a dog barking.
